Your ride report

Bring a recording from the Director Sportif and get back what your position cost, how much of the ride you spent in the draft, and your best and worst minutes. See an example report.

Optional: these make the numbers sharper. Left blank, your Zwift profile in the recording is used.
Your video, optional: if you put the ride on YouTube, each minute in the report gets a ▶ link that opens your video right at that moment.
How the video links work

Your ride video almost always comes from OBS, in one of two ways, and the two count time differently. Pick the one you're linking, so each ▶ lands at the right second:

  • The OBS recording the Director Sportif (DS) started. With Record OBS with the race on (the Director Sportif's settings, OBS tab), it starts OBS recording at your race and stops it after. You upload that file to YouTube; its 0:00 is the moment the Director Sportif started OBS.
  • The replay of your OBS stream. If you streamed the ride live from OBS, YouTube's replay starts the moment you went live, often minutes before or after the race.

The last box is usually empty. While the Director Sportif is connected to OBS it notes in your ride file the moment OBS started recording and the moment you went live (also for a recording you started yourself), so the links are timed for you.

Only if it wasn't connected does the report ask for it. Then play your video, find the moment your Director Sportif recording began (when you pressed Record; if it records events by itself, 5 minutes before the start, or when you joined if that was later) and type that time in the last box, e.g. 1:30 or 1:02:15.

Before anything is sent, your browser takes your name, Zwift id, profile and heart rate out of the file, then encrypts it so only our report program can open it. Other riders are already only dots under random ids. We make the report and keep nothing: privacy.
