Terms of Use

Free tools for your own rides, offered as they are. Please use them fairly.

October 2026.

Who we are

Caffecter is run by Paul Curtis. "We" and "us" on this site means him. By using the site you agree to these terms; if you don't, please don't use it.

What the site does

Your recordings

Fair use

Please don't:

We may refuse or stop service to anyone who does.

The mods

The Director Sportif and Ride Leader Games are separate downloads under their own license (the GNU GPL, version 3), which governs them, not these terms. They give advice only and never act in a race for you. You're responsible for following Zwift's terms and each event's rules when you use them.

Zwift and Sauce for Zwift

We're not affiliated with or endorsed by Zwift, Inc. or Sauce for Zwift. Zwift is a trademark of Zwift, Inc. Route facts (lengths, climbs, sprints, surfaces) describe Zwift's game world and are used to help you ride it.

No warranty

The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and uninterrupted service.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss (including lost results, data or race placings) from using or being unable to use the site or the mods, and our total liability for any claim is limited to US $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and using the site after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.
